When you mention a vet visit, a food preference, an allergy, or a quirk during a chat, Snorfel saves it to your dog's profile and uses it as context in future conversations. You can see, edit, or undo anything Snorfel has remembered on your dog's homepage. Memory is per-dog (vet history, foods, behaviors) and per-owner (household, schedule, walking spots).

Our AI uses advanced image recognition to identify dog breeds with high accuracy, even accounting for your dog's weight to improve results. For mixed breeds, we identify the likely breed combinations. Results are for informational purposes and should not replace DNA testing for official verification.

Based on your dog's breed, Snorfel surfaces common conditions to watch for, early warning signs, and preventive care tips. Every health response includes citations to PetMD and the Merck Veterinary Manual so you can dig deeper. Snorfel is not a substitute for veterinary care — when symptoms warrant a vet visit, it tells you.

Snorfel has a built-in community of dog owners. You're automatically joined to a group for your city, and you can browse or create topic-based communities. Post photos and questions, react to posts, comment, send friend requests, and message friends directly. You can disable community features entirely in Settings if you prefer to use Snorfel alone.
